This beta policy explains how LessonFlow handles data during private beta. It should be reviewed by legal counsel before public launch.

What data we collect

LessonFlow collects account information such as your email address, basic profile preferences, and workspace activity needed to run the product during private beta.

Student and teaching data

You may add student profiles, lesson notes, goals, teaching memory, generated materials, and lesson plans. This data is used to provide your workspace features and should only include information you are allowed to store.

AI processing

When you generate material, relevant lesson context may be sent to an AI provider to create the requested output. Avoid entering highly sensitive personal information into prompts or student notes.

Analytics

We may collect product usage events such as material generation, lesson creation, and weekly prep usage. Analytics are designed to avoid storing student content, generated text, notes, or prompts.

Data security

We use hosted infrastructure providers and access controls suitable for an MVP private beta. No system is perfectly secure, so please use LessonFlow responsibly and avoid storing unnecessary sensitive data.
